So Thomas is finally home and it's been wonderful. I went to Wasilla last week and spent 4 days with my Aunt Annette and had a great time. We went shopping and I finally broke down and got some maternity close.ugg....I did find some cute close but was greatly disturbed by some of them. They must think that Pregnant women should wear tents......anyways so I was at Annette's until Monday and Ash and I drove to Anchorage to pick up Thomas. She was so excited to see him that when he came around the corner and took off his sunglasses she ran right too him....it was so sweet. This week we have still been busy...Thomas remodeled my closest and has been playing catch up on honey dews since he's been here. He did find out that he will be staying here to work in Nikiski so he won't have to go back up to the slope....!! YAY at least until Dec/Jan....Ashlynne has hit the terriable twos and let me tell you she knows how to work it. Today she was so sick of shopping that Thomas had to actually take her to the car while I finished getting everything....it shocked him because everytime he came home she was daddies little girl and now she was throwing temper tantrums....the kinda of tantrums where you see someone and feel bad but walk away like you didn't notice.....uggg....anyways she has her little breakdowns but for the most part she is quiet the little helper....always wanting to help with projects or cooking....other then that the pregnancy is going good......I over did it on Sunday and Monday and had contractions for a couple of hours but that was kinda my fault I was tired and dehydrated....some water and rest later they went away....it's harder for me to slow down and rest even when Thomas is home.....but I'm trying. With Ashlynne I could sleep all day and not do anything now I am go go go with her and summer almost being here. We changed O.B. doctors this week and I have to tell you I love my new doc. He is very good at what he does. This was Thomas's first appt. and Dr. Barton did an ultrasound so we got great pictures and thomas got to see his boy. We go back on May 15th so I will post more pictures then. Hope all is well with everyone. Take Care Sam

5 months 3 days

So I finally got my stupied camera to work and took a pic of my GROWING belly. I swear a week ago I still had a small belly and one day I woke up and was like WOOOOW where did this come from? :) I haven't yet converted to maternity clothing yet but I figure when I go to Anchorage in a week or so I'll grab a couple of things. I did order some belly bands that I love to wear over my jeans. My jeans still fit until I eat and that's when those belly bands come into GREAT use. I have lot my sweet tooth craving and have started my spicy craving, I hope I'm one of those people that start to crave fruit and veggies cause right now I'm not eatting a whole lot of them. So far I have gained 13 lbs and I swear it's all in my belly , Noah is already taken up alot of room I'm thinking he's going to be a tall one. We have another appt on the 23rd which I am excited for since Thomas will be here and that will be the first time he's getting to go this time. Plus we have changed Drs. and I am looking forward to talking with the new Dr.

So Thomas is still gone but he comes home on April 20th after only being home 2 weeks since Jan 4th. It's been along 4 mths but now he'll be home for good!!! That'll be perfect timing too since I'm getting really drained and feel like I could sleep for a good 2 days straight.

Ashlynne is getting quiet the vocabulary on here. Her newest thing is "mommy I do," or when I try to hold her hand in the store or if we are walking somewhere she'll go " mommy MY hand" and clinch her hands together....but the best of all is when you say NO or tell her she can't do something she look at you with her nose scrunched and eyebrows together and say "what did you do"HAHA it's the funniest face she has ever made and I can't help but laugh but she thinks cause dad is away she doesn't have to listen and there are days I just let things go cause I know we are both tired and getting cabin fever and ready for winter to be gone so we can get outside but those days of attitude are getting fewer and fewer which I think has to do with the SUN finally starting to melt things. So for the past couple of days I'll load her up and we'll go for a drive just to get out in the sun....and out of the house. Well I will write more soon. Enjoy the pictures

It's a ................BOY

So we went to the doctor today and there was no hiding the fact that is was a BOY. The doctor didn't even have to tell me I pretty much seen it for myself. Here are a few pictures....the second one is of 1 leg and he's male part....the first is of his leg....which the doctor said was really long you can see the thigh, knee cap, calf and foot.....we couldn't get any face shots but atleast we found out that it's a boy.....also we have decided on a name.......Noah Todd Playle....I love the name Noah and I wanted to name him after my dad so taadaa! I will post some preggo pictures soon. I am 4 months and 3 weeks...! Love

I can finally see the end..

So it's been awhile since I have updated this...where to start. Well Thomas went back to the slope on Jan 30th and it feels like forever ago, while he was gone we had Ashlynne's birthday he was bummed out to miss it which is expected. Also we got rid of Titan out dog that we have had in our family for 9 years. It was a really hard to get rid of him but it was for the best. He was too old for our family and needed to live the quiet life. Luckly I found a GREAT older couple who live in Sterling on 3 acres. They have call a couple of times to let me know how he is doing and seriously if they would adopt me I would go. Not only do they not leave him at home there taking him to Hawaii with them this fall and Canada this summer...that dog is living to good life. Ok enough about Titan.....It's still colder then you know what here and I am so ready for summer I could taste it. We still have about 3 to 4 feet of snow that needs to melt first. So Ashlynne is growing like a weed and becoming more and more of a diva everyday. She throws fit and trys to tell me what to do until she gets in trouble and I SWEAR the Romero comes out in her. She licks her lips and puckers up like PaPaul, Bubba and John Paul do....it's a strong bloodline what can I say. The pregnancy is going good I am 4 months now and sometimes I forget I am even pregnant. Between chasing Ash and doing the normal house stuff my days have gone by fast. I have an appointment on the 25th to find out the sex, HOPEFULLY the baby will show us, since we are going to go shopping in Anch and couple weeks after that. So Thomas comes home tomorrow and will be home for a week and back to the slope for another 4 to 5 weeks. Trying to get the OT while he can you never know what will happen. We are just grateful he has a job since some of his friends don't right now. Well I'm off to finish laundry which is never ending! I love you all and will write more soon.

The Birthday Girl

So as the headline says today was Ashlynne's second birthday....wow time really does fly by when you are having fun. Let me tell you she is the funniest person I have ever known. Sunday we had a great little birthday party for her and tonight we went to my parents and had dinner. I was joking with my mom telling her that normally on all of our birthdays we order pizza and tonight for a 2 year old she got seafood alfrado.....lucky girl huh. She even shared her Chocolate cake with grandpa. So the pregnancy is moving along I am at 3 months now and we have our next doctors appointment on Feb 20th and we will have another ultrasound. We still have awhile tell we can find out what the sex is. Thomas is still away on the slope he's been gone for 2 1/2 weeks and will be gone another 2 1/2 weeks. In 3 months he will have only been home 2 weeks but I'm not complaining because with the way the economy is we are lucky he is not one of the thousands being laid off....but that still doesn't mean I'm not ready for him to come home. I need a full day where I can sleep all day and another where I can spring clean and get rid of things. Anything I will write more later. Here are some pictures of Ashlynne's Birthday.

First Blog

So this is my way of keeping up with everyone. I know I don't always call but you can understand with chasing a 2 year old around and being pregnant..... I will be 11 weeks on Friday...and am a fourth of the way done...ya! Things here are staying busy, Thomas is up on the slope right now. He "says" he is going to try to do a long hitch but we'll see. Last time he said the same thing and when Ashlynne got to were she would not talk to him on the phone he deceided it was time to come home. that was at 3 weeks. Anyways.....as much of you know I have my karma coming back to haunt me....yes I have apoligized to my mother over and over and have asked her if that will make Ash any better.......She just laughs at me. She is like a little tornado from sun up to sun down....and bossy as can be. She thinks Titan (our dog) is her child and she has no problem telling him what to do whether it is telling him to get upstairs , lay down , get down or get out of her room..lol she's a ham. She now tells me NO MAMA....at first I would laugh .....now not so much. She loves to provock her grandfather .........if he is chasing her she starts screaming then he will go sit down and she'll look at him and smile and go raw raw raw she usually runs to her meme for protection that's her safe place. Ok well I am going to try to update this at least once a week so stay tuned!!! I'll also be putting picture of our family and baby pictures up here.
